The Recessed Low Voltage Media Plate with Duplex Surge Protector combines the convenience of a duplex receptacle with a recessed plate while providing enough room to store low voltage cables behind your flat panel display. It's the ideal solution for streamlining and removing cables and cords from view while providing maximum protection for components thanks to Surgeblock®. This unique feature protects A/V devices from unexpected power surges caused by lightning strikes, the switching of inductive loads on the line (motor loads), as well as RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). It even alerts the user if surge protection is ever lost, so users won't be caught off guard by an unexpected power spike.
